Congratulations to all our athletes who competed in the National Epee and Foil Championships, held in Rome from May 28 to June 4, 2026.
The men’s epee team reaffirmed its place among the nation’s elite by finishing in 5th place.
Congratulations to Fabio Barbara, Mattia Loiacono, Lupo Sala, and Yordano Suarez.
Yordano Suarez secured an extraordinary 8th place in the extremely tough men’s individual épée competition, followed by Federico Bollati in 16th place—a true underdog. Congratulations to them, as well as to Mattia Loiacono (52nd place) and Alessio Preziosi (65th place).
In the Cadet épée category, Francesco La Forza finished in the top ten, placing 10th, while Lucas Cavaliere placed 58th.
In the Cadet foil category, Marco Michieletti placed 22nd.
In the Youth foil category, Akash Nitti placed 38th.
In the Youth épée category, Francesco La Forza finished 52nd and Cristian Divittini 70th.
